OAPWO was founded by the husband and wife team of Rosanne & Wayne Prevett.

Wayne & Rosanne are the founders of Kettle Creek Weddings and Celebrating Life.

Wayne & Rosanne have more than 25 years each of performing Life Celebrations such as weddings, funerals and baby christenings.

Wayne & Rosanne are the lead facilitators of for Certified Celebrants Association of Canada.

Wayne & Rosanne have officiated more than 8000 life celebrations allowing them to have more actual Life Celebration experience than any other team in Ontario.

OAPWO was founded to address an ever growing need for training, certification and most importantly accountability. Wedding Officiants have increased in number substantially over the past 15 years. Like so many wedding service providers there is no governing body that inspires and demands a high level of professionalism and accountability. Most Wedding Officiants in Ontario today have no training, no education and no accountability to anyone or any governing body. OAPWO was created to address this issue.

Each OAPWO member must sign to and be held accountable to a professional code of conduct.
